Aurora Borealis

The Aurora Borealis or also known as Northern Lights light up the skies in Minnesota on May 10th. You can see it with your visible eyes but the colors were faint. Your smartphone camera can pickup the colors much better. This was my first time ever seeing the Aurora Borealis and it was an amazing experience. I pulled out my Sony A7iii with my Sony 35mm F/1.8 lens and started capturing right away on a tripod.

I didn’t have time to travel further north of the Twin Cities for better landscape shots of the Northern Lights. Hopefully next time when Minnesota gets another wonderful night sky of the Aurora Borealis, I will get the better shots. It’s truly an experience that you’ll never forget.
